Ever since I've become more knowledgeable about the slaughter industry, I've worried about all of my ex horses (I'm sure you can all relate). I got a wonderful e-mail last night from the owners of my old mare Peaches, registered name Twinkle Mose. I sold her to a couple from Germany in 1990 and apparently she is still doing wonderfully over there - she is 20 now and they still have her. She is sound and ridden regularly. They also sent me pictures of her daughter. When I sold her, she was pregnant and she now has a beautiful daughter.
Twinkle Mose in 1989 when I owned her:

Cool, hey?
